Aims & Scope

Journal of Advanced Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (JAPID) is the biannual official publication of the Iranian Academy of Periodontology (IAP), dedicated to current advanced topics in the field of periodontology and dental implants.  As a scientific and specialized non-governmental organization (NGO), IAP is a center promoting and improving oral health in the region, through a network of expertise, knowledge, creativity, and innovation of professionals, by emphasizing the most relevant and up-to-date technologies.

JAPID aims to do high-quality research and review articles freely and openly accessible for all researchers and practitioners in the community of dentists and periodontists, eliminating any obstacles in the process of acquiring information.

We strive to achieve outstanding excellence and recognition through the published articles, similar to the publication of IAP, to serve and advance the various aspects of periodontology and implantology.

The scope of JAPID includes topics pertaining to periodontology, including the biological, microbiological, and immunological aspects of periodontology and implantology, clinical periodontics, oral implantology, and systematic reviews.
